RECITES THE POETRY OF SHEL SILVERSTEIN

The poetry of Shel Silverstein has amused, entertained, and excited children of all ages. “Waffles” has adapted the humor and wisdom of Shel in a 60 minute-long cabaret style performance that combines original music and sing-along with improvisational theater and audience participation. The audience is encouraged to join in the fun of the written word with self expression, spontaneity and creativity as they interact with “Waffles” unique interpretation of the poetry. Puppets, rhythm junk instruments and interactive games enhance the performance. The hour-long presentation inspires children and adults to read and re-read Shel’s classic children’s books.
